A nine-panel graphic-novel page titled 'Chat Control will kill children.' A boy is abused and told to keep it secret or his mother will be hurt; he is surrounded by surveillance and told his privacy must be removed to protect him; he is watched constantly; he types a plea for help but freezes when he sees the channel is not secure; he sends it anyway; his abuser, shown only in shadow, intercepts and reads it because it is not encrypted; a faceless operator watches him across a wall of camera feeds, packet sniffers and parental-control dashboards; and finally an abandoned, dust-covered bedroom with a broken padlock glowing on an old screen and only a fallen teddy bear where the child used to be.
